In the time it’s taken to have a shower, a shave and take a few cricket themed potential blog photos, England have collapsed from 105-2 to 164 all out since my last post. England had actually been 100-0 at tea and so lost all ten wickets in one session for just 64 runs.
Whilst this is a hugely disappointing result for England it’s a fantastic result for Bangladesh and world cricket in general. Nineteen-year-old off-spinner Mehdi Hasan, having made his debut in the first Test finished the series with nineteen wickets at 15.63 including three six-wicket hauls and the Tigers, wounded after a narrow defeat in the first Test will be hoping that he and the team as a whole can go from strength to strength after this victory.
Well done to Bangladesh and for England it’s on to India!
