International Duck Watch!

img_1813

In the fifth Test in Chennai, England batted first against India and still we don’t have any Duck Watch contributors from that match!

As speculated yesterday here at Silly Point…

https://sillypointcricketsite.wordpress.com/2016/12/15/dawson-to-debut-in-chennai/

… Hampshire’s Liam Dawson debuted for England.

On a different continent in the first Test between Australia and Pakistan, Nic Maddinson, who was dismissed for nought on his Test bow against South Africa now has a Test batting average of 0.5 after achieving a mighty one run (Having been dropped on nought, no really!) in the hosts’ first innings total of 429. Maddinson’s chances of getting another bat in the match seem slim after the tourists capitulated to a paltry 97-8 in reply and finally getting to the point, Younis Khan was dismissed first ball and therefore inducted into the International Duck Watch Hall of Fame.
