Great news! Just six months after being diagnosed with cancer, former England batsman Michael Carberry is eyeing a return to the game.
The Hampshire left-hander, who performed stoically in England’s disastrous 2013-14 Ashes campaign down under is said to be making good progress following a successful operation.
Carberry has a First Class best of 300 not out, a List A best of 150 not out and a T20 best of 100 not out. Those statistics are just beautiful.
Silly Point wishes ‘Carbs’ the very best upon his return, just don’t go too well MC, we wouldn’t want you ruining the mathematical qualities of those career bests!
