  1. I’ve downloaded this for my iPhone. My favourite version was the Ashes edition with Brett Lee on the front of a green cover. Pretty happy with it so far although I didn’t realise I could pick Jeetan Patel as he was highlighted red so have played the first half of the season without him. D’oh. Dominic Sibley is my player of the season so far! He’s immense!

    1. I’ve got Will Rhodes in one of my Telegraph Fantasy Teams. It seems to be coming together for him at Warwickshire. Yorkshire didn’t seem to know what to do with him.

Sam Hain keeps getting run out for me on Cricket Captain 2018 so we’ll see if he makes the cut for the West Indies. Got a stinking batting average in real life!

      1. I’ve got it on easy mode and managed to get Warwickshire promoted comfortably so took the Surrey job when it came on offer.

Dean Elgar is a great overseas signing and in fact is one of the best openers in cricket full stop. Have pushed a couple of the academy lads through and made a few canny signings. Stephen Parry at 32 provided another spin option although Will Jacks despite being an all rounder can’t buy a run for me. Sam Curran is good and Matt Dunn is impressing me. Ollie Pope seems to be living up to the standards he is setting in real life.

Picked up Grant Thornton as well who was let go by Warwickshire in real life but is a solid addition on the game. Helps rotate the squad in one day competitions etc. I actually know Grant too so had to buy him. Stoneman doesn’t get a look in at the moment. Hain is a weird one. His first class average isn’t great yet he has an ability to score big hundreds and his conversion record is excellent. He seems to excel in the One Day format!
