International Duck Watch!

There’s only one contributor to International Duck Watch today. Step forward Mr Kusal Mendis of Sri Lanka. The tourists’ number three lasted ten scoreless deliveries against Zimbabwe in Harare before being dismissed by Carl Mumba who like the first Test is on a second innings rampage. So far he’s claimed figures of 3-31 from eleven overs leaving his bowling average at 32.75 which is exactly 25 less than the jealously looking on Donald Tiripano. At least Tiripano can console himself with his contribution to the first ever International Duck Watch even if he wasn’t quite the star of the show!

Congratulations to Sri Lanka’s Ranasinghe Arachchige Suranga Lakmal who will forever have the dubious honour of being the inaugural recipient of Silly Point’s brand new, latest state of the art feature International Duck Watch. Lakmal lasted all of two deliveries against the mighty Zimbabwe before being bowled by Donald Tiripano and by doing so, assisting the Zimbabwe pacer in lowering his Test Match bowling average to a batsman terrifying 57.25!
